    Expectations

    We are seeking a plumbing technician to perform a variety of residential and commercial plumbing services, including installation, repair, maintenance, and diagnostics. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently while also being part of a team.

    This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, good communication, and a commitment to providing quality workmanship on every job.

    Candidates should be experienced with:

    • Building rapport with customers
    • Asking questions to understand the customer’s needs
    • Explaining diagnostics and recommendations
    • Presenting multiple repair and replacement options when appropriate
    • Answering questions about the recommended work
    • Handling customer concerns professionally
    • Helping customers make informed decisions about their homes and businesses
    • Asking for the opportunity to complete the recommended work without using high-pressure sales tactics

    Qualifications

    • Valid Drivers License and clean insurable driving record
    • 5 or more years of residential and commercial plumbing experience
    • Able to pass a drug test and background check
    • Flat Rate Quoting and Sales Experience
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to safely lift equipment and perform physical work required of the position
    • Strong attention to detail 
    • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members
    • Willingness to learn and continue developing your plumbing skills
    • A positive attitude and dependable work ethic

    Required Skills

    • Install, repair, diagnose, and maintain commercial and residential plumbing systems in accordance to current NC Plumbing Code.

    • Ability to work in confined spaces (ex. crawlspaces, attics).

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to provide options for repairs and replacement.

    • Ability to safely operate power tools, heavy machinery and hand tools.

    • Basic computer skills.

    • Ability to perform all physical tasks regularly required of a plumber.

    • Accurately estimate material and quantity of material needed for projects.

    Preferred Skills

    • Ability to operate excavation equipment.

      5 years in Commercial and Residential Environments
